* Transcribed for genealogy purposes. I am not related to the person(s) mentioned.

Note: Buried in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 2nd.200

Born Oct. 1, 1911 and died Dec. 22, 1939.

Husband of Gwendyne SEARS HENDRICKS, a native of Lineville, Wayne county, Iowa. Her maiden family of SEARS appears to have a number of FindAGrave memorials (most with headstone photos) in Evergreen cemetery, Lineville, Wayne county, Iowa. This contributor does not know at this time if Gwendyne remarried, and if so to whom, and where she is buried. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated (Note: a search of the Wayne county IAGenWeb/Wayne county website contains a notice that "H. Gwendyne SEARS" graduated from Lineville High School on May 17, 1935. It is possible that the spelling of "Gwendene" in Charles' obituary should have been "Gwendyne", as this appears to be one and the same person. Clarification would be appreciated)
