Front Page, Column 1We were glad to see Marion RIDINGER Tuesday. He lives in Clark County and has a good farm. He was called here to see his sister, Mrs. Jacob GREBER, who has been quite sick for some time. Marion is a son of the late Samuel RIDINGER, who was one of the early settlers of this county.

Mrs. Jacob GREBER died Tuesday afternoon at her home on North Main street after an illness of several months. Although still very ill she was thought to be slightly improved until about twenty minutes before her death.
Jane RIDINGER, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel RIDINGER, was born north of Salina in November of 1856 (sic). April 4, 1878, she was united in marriage to Jacob GREBER, and they continued to make their home in this county. Last fall the family moved to this city.
Besides the husband and father, Mrs. GREBER is survived by three children, Fred of near this city, and Anna and Raney who are at home; also one brother, Marion (sic - Samuel Marion) RIDINGER of Clark (sic - Clarke) Co.
Kind and generous, she enjoyed the respect and admiration of all with whom she came in contact. She will be sadly missed by many friends outside the family circle.
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon at one o'clock conducted by Rev. J. S. Miller of Mt. Pleasant, formerly pastor of the Lower Richwoods Church of God, of which Mrs. GREBER was a member, and the body tenderly laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.

On earth below I have no home
That I can call my own.
I have a home in heaven above
Where trials are unknown.
My glorious home by faith I see,
All free from pain and care.
It's an eternal happy day
Where endless pleasures are."The dear Lord's best interpreters
Are humble human souls.
The gospel of a life like hers,
Is more than books or scrolls."
