Mrs. Casper Hildebrand (Hillenbrand) died at her home in Walnut township the 4th inst. Her maiden name was Elisabeth Marks and she was born in Germany Oct. 26 1828. A year later she came with her parents to this country and lived at Columbus, Ohio for several years. She was married to Christian Heyde, in 1845, and two years later the young people came to this county and located on the farm which was their home as long as they lived. Mr. Heyde died in 1862, and the widow married Mr. Hildebrand in 1863. Two children by the first marriage, Henry Heyde of Brighton and Mrs. Catherine Ringshausen of Mt. Pleasant, and two by the second marriage, Mrs. John Kientz of this county and Mrs. Charles Weible of Mt. Pleasant, survive her. The aged husband is also living. (See German M. E.
