Friday, February 16, 1973KEOSAUQUA -- Emmet Ray RODIBAUGH, former Van Buren County assessor, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday at the Ottumwa Hospital where he had been a patient for several days.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church with the Rev. James M. Ford Officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home.
Emmet Ray RODIBAUGH, 84, was born Jan. 17, 1889, at Libertyville, the son of Henry and Ellen BRANTNER RODIBAUGH.
He was married to Mabel STEVER in 1909 at Libertyville. She died in 1962.
After farming in the Libertyville community and in Missouri, Rodibaugh moved to Van Buren County in 1936, and operated the store at Mount Zion.
Survivors include one son, Richard, Fremont, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen BOGNER, Lockridge, and Marjorie RODIBAUGH, La Grange, Ill; one brother, Charles, Fairfield; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
