Marian F. EPPERSON, 97, formerly of Milton, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Marian F. EPPERSON

Marian F. EPPERSON, 97, formerly of Milton, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Doran Bollman officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation, with the family present, will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Milton Christian Church or American Legion Russell-Strait Post 483 may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 1107 N. Sunrise Lane, Milton 52570.

Mrs. EPPERSON was born Jan. 24, 1915, near Liberty, Mo., the daughter of Thomas and Anna Jane BEST ARNOLD. She married Harold L. EPPERSON Dec. 24, 1939.

Mrs. EPPERSON graduated from Liberty High School and worked as a secretary at Clay County, Mo., courthouse prior to marrying. She and her husband farmed in the Cantril and Milton area. They had lived on their farm near Milton since 1944 and entered Good Samaritan Society March 19.

Mrs. EPPERSON joined the Baptist Church in Liberty and attended Milton Christian Church. She was a member of PEO Chapter AD in Milton.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Keith EPPERSON and wife Donna of Sigourney and Kenneth EPPERSON and wife Beverly of Milton; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
