Hugh James ESHELMAN, born Apr. 22, 1872 in Lockridge township, Jefferson County, Iowa; married Apr. 16, 1895 Elizabeth BALDOSIER of near Merrimac; died this morning at University Hospital, Iowa City. Bur. Union Cemetery near Germanville. Besides wife is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nina McGUIRE, Wayland; and a son, Roy ESHELMAN, Brighton; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, six sisters: Mrs. Sadie MILLER, Fairfield; Mrs. Emma SWAILES, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Maud WILLIAMS, Burlington; Mrs. Blanch NORTON, Fairfield; Mrs. Lissie WITTMER, who resides in western Iowa, and Mrs. Mabel LEOFFLER, Keosauqua. Preceded in death by parents, two sisters and a brother.
