MRS. McGUIRE DIES THURSDAY.
Mother, Sister, of Local People passes away in Lawrence, Kan.

Mrs. Elizabeth McGUIRE, mother of Dr. Roy A. McGUIRE and Charles McGUIRE of Fairfield, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Walter SCHOEWE of Lawrence, Kansas. 79 years of age. Her husband Charles Sullivan McGUIRE, preceded her in death 35 years ago. Survived by following children: Dr. Roy and Charles of this city, Harry and Mrs. Anna BLACK of Wayland, and Mrs. Caroline SCHOEWE of Lawrence, Kansas. Also surviving are one brother G. C. KIENTZ of Fairfield and three sisters, Mrs. Emma CRAFF and Mrs. Meta SPIELMAN of Fairfield and Mrs. Fred WILLIAMS of Brighton. The body of Mrs. McGUIRE arrived in Fairfield today, and will remain at the Hoskins funeral home until Sunday, when funeral services will be held in the Green Mound church near Trenton, Iowa, at three o'clock.
