Mrs. Anna C. GARDNER died in this city Sunday morning at 2 o'clock from pneumonia. Deceased was a daughter of the late Christian DUTTWEILER, and was born in Walnut township, this county, July 4, 1851. Grew to womanhood there and was married to Jacob GARDNER Nov. 23, 1872. The family removed to Lucas County perhaps five years later, where the husband died in December 1892. Mrs. GARDNER afterwards returned here and has made her home in country and city. Five children survive; Myrtle, G.W., Harvey, Lethea and Alva, all at home..Remains taken to Lucas for internment Monday and laid beside those of her husband...
