Bernard K. Clark, 69, of Bonaparte, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at his home.

The body has been cremated. At his request, no service or visitation will be held.

Memorials to the family may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua or mailed to the family at PO Box 105, Bonaparte 52620.

Mr. Clark was born Jan. 3, 1934, in Bonaparte, the son of Carl and Flossie Greer Clark. He married Maxine Warner Dec. 26, 1953, in Fairfield.

Mr. Clark lived his life in Van Buren County. He attended Stockport High School and was the owner and operator of a tractor/trailer.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Maria Rains and Sandra Cole, both of Bonaparte; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ervin Clark of Keosauqua, Jerry Clark of Clayton, Ill., and Tom Clark of Elko, Nev.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Clark in infancy and Juanita Rentaria; and two grandsons.
