JOHN WIENEKE TAKEN IN DEATH.

Brighton, Ia. – John WIENEKE, 91, who lived 3½ miles east of Brighton, died at 3:50 p.m. Sun. at the Washington County Hospital in Washington. Last rites Wed. 1:30 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church near Germanville with the Rev. Irwin Ableman officiating; burial in the cemetery nearby. Born on a farm near Lockridge and lived most of his married life in the Brighton community; married Sarah HOSTETLER Oct. 18, 1896; she died April 12, 1948. Surviving children: Mrs. Clara AMRINE, Brighton; Mrs. Mabel BOESE, Lockridge; John WIENEKE, Brighton; Mrs. Alice LOWE, Brighton; and Sarah WIENEKE at home; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lena KIRK, Mt. Pleasant...
