Death Comes To Mrs. HANSHAW

Mrs. Logan HANSHAW, longtime resident of Fairfield, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been in failing health the past year and serously ill the past week.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. D. O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.

Mrs. Maude HANSHAW, 74, was born Aug. 2, 1890 in Jefferson county norhteast of Birmingham. She was the daughter of Andrew and Nancy CANADY(sp) LOVING.

She was reared and educated in Birmingham, and was married to Logan HANSHAW on Sept. 21, 1910. The family moved to Fairfield about 40 years ago.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. HANSHAW is survived by one son, Lloyd, Fairfield; and two daughters, Mrs. Orval ROBISON, and Mrs. Donald ROBISON, also of Fairfield.

Other survivors include eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. H. E. BARQUIST, Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, and three great grandchildren; also one brother, one sister, two half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Admin. note: Buried in Lot Acacia 98 - space 6. Husband Logan died in 1973 and is buried beside her in space 5.
