Page 3, Column 3DEATH SUDDEN TO A. T. SPRAY
Anuel T. SPRAY, 63, passed away suddenly early this morning at his home, 52½ East Burlington street. His death came at 3:30 a.m.
"Brigham," as he was known by his many friends and neighbors, had not been feeling well for the past month but had worked until last Monday. He had been a machinist at the Louden Machinery company for 42 years.
Last rites wll be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. SPRAY was born November 27, 1884, at Glasgow, Iowa, the son of Isaac (sic - Isaiah) and Eunice WRIGHT SPRAY. He was united in marriage to Mary A. TURNER, who survives. He had been a resident of Fairfield for many years.
Besides his wife, Mr. SPRAY is survived by two sons, Harold R., Mt. Pleasant; and Glenn W., Fairfield; a daughter, Mrs. William MARTIN, Ft. Madison; and his mother, Mrs. Eunice SPRAY, Ottumwa. Two grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, three children and one sister.
