BRIGHTON ENTERPRISE, Sat. Nov. 18, 1911 (1-3).

Casper Zelinski died last Sunday at his home five miles south of Brighton, 92 years of age, born in Germany and came to this country with his parents in 1870 and settled in Chicago; 37 years ago they came to Iowa and settled on the place south of Brighton which has been his home ever since. Six children survive him: John and Joe here and the other four live in Chicago. Of late years he has lived mostly by himself in the old farm house, taking his meals with the family of his son Joe, who farmed the place and lived near by him. Funeral at the Polish Catholic church Monday at 10 o’clock.

(1-4). Kasmer Zelinski died Saturday morning Nov. 11 at the home of his son Joseph in his 89th year. Born in Poland and came to this country when about 41 years of age…..Over 40 years ago removed to the Polish neighborhood southeast of Pleasant Plain….Remains laid to rest in the cemetery nearby.
