OBITUARY

AUGUST KREGOSKI

August KREGOSKI, a resident of East Pleasant Plain since 1909 when they moved from their farm south of that town, died Tuesday morning March 20, after an illness of several months.

The exact date of birth is unknown but he was born in Poland, Germany about 75 years ago. After coming to America he at first settled in Chicago but came to the Polish settlement south of town some 37 years ago. His wife who was Miss Kate KASOWSKY died about 15 years ago.

One son and three daughters survive Mr. KREGOSKI. They are: Anthony of Mitchell, South Dakota, and Mrs. Matt DRISH of Davenport, Mrs. Paul Peck of Brighton and Dora at home. Three children are dead: Mrs. John GEVOK who died in 1918 at East Pleasant Plain and Terese and Adam who passed away many years ago.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s church, Thursday morning with burial in the adjacent cemetery.
