William RILEY

William RILEY, 71, a former resident of the Farson community, died at 10:10 a.m. today at the Wapello county hospital. He had been ill for the past several years.

Surviving are three sons, Gerald RILEY of Packwood, Adrian RILEY of Hedrick, Ottic RILEY of Ottumwa, and two daughters, Mrs. Glen PUDER of Memphis, Mo. and Mrs. Vera SMITH of Fairfield. Two brothers, Bert RILEY of Farson and Ed RILEY of Batavia, and several grandchildren also survive.

The body is at the Community funeral home awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

RILEY Funeral

Funeral services for William J. RILEY, who died Saturday morning, were held at the Abington Christian church at 2 p.m. today, in charge of Rev. Harold Roberts. Burial was in Abington cemetery.

Transcribed for genealogy purposes, Bill was my grandfather.
