Grace L. Lynn, 98, of Fairfield died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at Nelson Nursing Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the Nelson Nursing Home activity fund may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.

Mrs. Lynn was born April 16, 1905, in Fairfield, the daughter of John W. and Mary C. Zillman Stallman. She married Floyd Jasper Lynn Jan. 7, 1927, in Burlington. He died Dec. 26, 1994.

Mrs. Lynn was a lifetime resident of Fairfield. She graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College.

She and her husband owned and operated the Stallman Transfer Company in Fairfield.

Mrs. Lynn was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Eagles Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, of which she was a past president. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Ellyn Anderson Lynn of Moline, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard W. Lynn, and one sister, Lucille Welch.
