Services for Flossie M. CRAWFORD, 92, who died Tuesday at Parkview Care Center, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Peoples Church north of Batavia with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia. The casket will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. A memorial has been established to Peoples Church.
Mrs. CRAWFORD was born Oct. 18, 1894 in Jefferson County, the daughter of W. W. and Rosetta VAN NESS KNOX and had lived in the Batavia and Fairfield communities most of her life. She was a charter member of Peoples Church and a member of the Dorcas Society at Abingdon. She married William E. CRAWFORD Feb. 3, 1916 in Fairfield. He died July 26, 1980.
Surviving are five daughters, Morine HOGAN of Richland, Mary SHANSTROM, Ila Mae BRADSHAW, both of Fairfield, Virginia CONN of Corvallis, Ore., Lucille DAVIS of Omaha, Neb.; two sons, Charles of Fairfield, William of Belle Plaine, Kan.; 24 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren
