KIGER Rites At Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Willam Glenn KIGER, 72, native of Jefferson County, died about 3 a.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Hospital. His death followed a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Gerald Roseberry in charge. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

The son of Lewis H. and Bertha McELWEE KIGER, he was born Oct. 29, 1895, in Jefferson County. He had lived in Mount Pleasant the past 45 years.

He was married to Jessie LAUGER on Sept. 1, 1935, who suvives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard DONNOLLY, Mount Pleasant; one brother, Guy KIGER, Mount Pleasant; and uncle, Noble KIGER Sr., Fairfield; a cousin, Noble KIGER, Jr., Fairfield; plus several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Harry KIGER, preceded him in death.

KIGER was a member of the brother, Guy KIGER, Mount Pleasant Lodge No. 8 AF &AM.
