Robert "Bob" La Verne ZILLMAN, 79, 611 S. Third St., died died at 6:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with Rev. Jan Burns-Hintze officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Open visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in his memory to: Tee Up for Tots, 4444 E. Broadway, Tucson, Ariz. 85711.
Mr. ZILLMAN was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Fairfield, the son of Lester C. and Edna McINTIRE ZILLMAN. He married Nellie E. PAGE Aug. 9, 1945, in Letchworth, England. She died May 18, 1974.
Mr. ZILLMAN lived his entire life in the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School with class of 1941. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in World War II. He was a self-employed concrete contractor.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie) No. 1927 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2271.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna ZILLMAN of Tucson, Ariz.; and one son, Jerry ZILLMAN of Tucson; one grandchild; and two sisters, Nellie ZILLMAN ANDERSON of Fairfield and Doris ZILLMAN CHRISTOPHER of Little Rock, Ark.
