Services to be held Friday afternoon at Birmingham

Mrs. Clifford UNKRICH, 33, was found dead at her home one and one-half miles north of Fairfield Monday at 3 p.m. Mrs. UNKRICH had lived in that community about two years, her residence previous to that time being in and near Birmingham.

She had left a note explaining that she was despondent over ill health. Her body was found by her son, in a shed where she had hung herself with a rope from a rafter.

Mrs. UNKRICK is survived by her husband Clifford, and a son, Chris; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield BALDWIN of Birmingham, and a sister, Mrs. Lucile KESSEL of Boise, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Birmingham with the Rev. F. M. James of Keosauqua in charge. Interment will be in Maple Hill cemetery at Birmingham. The body was taken to the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

(Velma Bernice BALDWIN, daughter of Garfield BALDWIN and Mayme Bell LAWSON. I research the LAWSON line.)
