May 4, 1977E. WOELLHAF Dies At 90
Mrs. Edna WOELLHAF, 90, 405 S. Main, died Wednesday at 3:20 a.m. at Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health the past year.
She was born March 5, 1887 in Henry County near Lockridge, the daughter of Jacob and Prudence HICKENBOTTOM PFOUTZ. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County and on Nov. 15, 1906 she married Charles H. WOELLHAF. He died Oct. 10, 1956.
Mrs. WOELLHAF was a member of Fairfield Rebekah Lodge 96 for over 70 years and also a member of Naomi Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Juanita JOHNSON of Fairfield and a niece, Gladys BARZEE of Spokane, Wash.
Services will be Friday, 2 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Note: Buried in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 5th.009. Her husband, Charles, was evidently first buried in the Fairfield Abbey, then removed for burial in 5th.009 (the Fairfield Abbey mausoleum was closed in the 1970's).
