LIBERTYVILLE --- Grace M. FERREL, 88, longtime resident of the Libertyville Community, died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday at the Rex TEDROW home south of Libertyville. She had been in failing health for the past week.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery south of Libertyville.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
Grace FERREL had lived most of her life in the Libertyville Community, she had taught in rural schools in Jefferson County and she was a member of the Mount Zion Methodist Church.
She was born May 13, 1894, in Birmingham. She was the daughter of Elmer and Izora CARR ENLAW. Her marriage to James M. FERREL took place Dec. 18, 1912, in Birmingham. He died Feb. 12, 1952.
Survivors include a daughter, Vermith F. REED, Ottumwa; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a sister, Elma WEIDEIMEIR, Burlington.
Note: Her father's surname should be ENLOW, not ENLAW.
