Susan Christine BALDOZIER, age 60, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. The body will be cremated.
Susan was born on December 13, 1950, the daughter of Barbara J. and Robert B. JACKS, in Denver, Colorado. Susan has one sister, Nancy. Susan lived in Denver through high school, graduating from George Washington High School; attended Keuka College in NY State, and the University of Colorado in Boulder. She married Larry Glyn BALDOZIER on 9/22/81 in Estes Park, CO. They were later divorced. The light of Susan's life was her daughter, Brittany Olivia BALDOZIER.
Susan and Brittany continued to live in Fairfield until Brittany went to Columbia College, Chicago, Ill., in August of 2011. Susan worked at various jobs until she became ill with cancer and passed away in Iowa City.
Susan in survived by her daughter, Brittany BALDOZIER; her sister, Nancy KEITH and husband, Tom KEITH, of Farmington, New Mexico; and her mother Barbara JACKS of Fairfield, Iowa. Cards of condolence may be sent to her family at 608 West Harrison St., Fairfield.
