Esther "Peg" CAMPBELL, 78, 1107 S. Fifth St., died Sunday morning, Nov. 6, 1994, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Otto Zwanziger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation begins Tuesday morning at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Fairfield Public Library.
Mrs. CAMPBELL was born April 21, 1916, at Centerville, the daughter of Bert and Cora REDDIG PIXLEY. She graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College for one year. On Jan. 7, 1937, she married Homer "Doc" CAMPBELL at Memphis, Mo. He died Jan. 1, 1972. She had worked in the decorating business and had been employed at Paintin' Place in Fairfield. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Eagles Auxiliary, the Senior Citizen Chorus, and was active in women's bowling leagues in Fairfield.
Surviving are three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, Caryle PRINCE, her parents, a brother, Robert PIXLEY, and a sister, Mary ELDER, preceded her in death.

CAMPBELL, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 7TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1992, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JOHN D. FORD WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE.
