Harry O. SHANER
The service for Harry O. SHANER, 87, 906 W. Jefferson Ave., who died at 4:01 A.M. Thursday, March 26, 1992, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 1:30 Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Rites will be held by IOOF Lodge 4 at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Harry SHANER memorial has been established.
SHANER was born March 8, 1905, in Glasgow, the son of Charles and Mary QUILLEN SHANER. He married Mildred J. ANGSTEAD on Sept. 10, 1933, in Memphis, Mo. He worked for 36 years at Dexter Co., retiring in 1970. He was a member of First Christian Church, and member and past officer of Jefferson Lodge 4 IOOF, Iowa Encampment 6 and Canton Biglow 6.
His wife survives him. A sister, Grace JOHNSON, and a brother, Luther, preceeded him in death.
