The "Eldon Review" notes the death of Mrs. Nancy SNOOK, widow of Israel SNOOK, in that place the 2d inst. Deceased was a native of Ohio, grew to womanhood in that state and was married there. She and her husband came to Jefferson County in 1842, and reared a family of nine children here. Mr. SNOOK died in 1884 (sic - 1885).

Note: Her place of burial was not noted, but husband Israel is buried in County Line Cemetery, a/k/a Dunn, Gonterman, or Rominger Cemetery. Nancy's maiden name was GISH.
