Death came early this morning to Fred H. NEIBERT, native of Fairfield and long-time distributor for the Shell Oil company.
He became ill at his home, 304 W. Broadway, about 12:30 a.m. He was taken to the hospital by his daughter, Mrs. William CARON, who is visiting here from her home in Long Beach, Calif.
NEIBERT passed away at 11:20 a.m. of a coronary heart attack.
The body is at the Raymond funeral home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Methodist church, with the Rev. James W. Dendler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Fred H. NEIBERT, 72, was born August 5, 1892, in Fairfield, the son of William H. and Elizabeth BRECKENMAKER NEIBERT. He was reared and educated in the Fairfield community.
On August 30, 1919, he was united in marriage at St. Louis to Florence LOEHR. They had made their home in Fairfield most of their married life and have lived at 304 W. Broadway for the past several years.
NEIBERT was a member of the Methodist church, Masons, Legion, V.F.W., Last Chance Barracks No. 824, Veterans of WWI; and B.P.O. Elks 1192 where he served as a member of the board of trustees for several years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Einer JUEL, Atlantic, Iowa, and Mrs. CARON of Long Beach.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, one brother William H. NEIBERT, Fairfield and a sister, Mrs. Ace GILLETT, Ft. Collins, Colo.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
