Viola May FRAKES, 78, 902 W. Grimes, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson County Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials have been established to Foursquare Church and the American Heart Association.
Mrs. FRAKES was born Aug. 4, 1908 in Mellette, S.D., the daughter of Charles and Mary STANSELL TULLER, and lived most of her life in Fairfield. She married Joseph A. FRAKES July 3, 1938 in Fairfield. She had worked at Jefferson County Hospital for 10 years before retiring and was a member of Foursquare Church and VFW.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Roger, Ollie; Harold, Wellman; a daughter, Mary BARNETT, Fairfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Orval TULLER, Des Moines, Lloyd TULLER, Festus, Mo.; Harold TULLER, Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Irene PATTERSON, Edmonds, Wash.; Inez JOHNSON, Bradford, Ill. A son, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
