Mrs. HARPER To Be Buried Here

Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. O. A. HARPER, former well-known resident of Fairfield who died Sunday morning at a hospital in Canton, Ill.

She had made her home in Canton for a number of years with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer RODGERS.

The body will be returned to Fairfield and graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Evergreen cemetery in charge of the Rev. J. Roland Crandall. Local arrangements are in charge of the Weston Behner funeral home.

Mrs. HARPER was preceded in death by her husband, the late O. A. HARPER, who was in the hardware business here in Fairfield for a number of years with the late E. P. Bailey. She was also preceded in death by one daughter and a son.

Survivors include her daughter at Canton, Ill., another daughter Bernice LOCKHARD (sic - Berneice LOCKARD), Galesburg, Ill., one brother, Elmer ARMSTRONG, Chicago; and the following sisters, Mrs. Albert SAUR, Fairfield; Mrs. A. NOTT, Monette, Mo.; Mrs. Jennie ALFRED, Mt. Pleasant. Other survivors include one grand-daughter and three great grand-children.
