FOUR CORNERS. Mrs. Charles HILDEBRAND, who met instant death at Lockridge last Tuesday morning, was born in Jefferson County, Iowa, Apr 10 1855, and grew to womanhood in this vicinity, and was later married to Mr. C.F. HILDEBRAND. They were blessed with nine children, all of whom are living.... She leaves, aside from her husband and nine children, one brother, two sisters, and scores of friends... She was a member of the German Lutheran church of this place... The funeral took place Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. P.H. Dornseif, of Wilton, Iowa, in the German language, and Rev. C. Dryer of Iowa City in the English language, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery west of this place.
