LeRoy DeHART

LeRoy DeHART, 87, of Fairfield, died Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A graveside service at Purdom Cemetery will be announced at a later date. Following Mr. DeHART's wishes, his body has been cremated. Memorials may be made to the DeHART family and sent to 701 E. Buchanan Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Arrangements are in the care of Behner Funeral Home.

Mr. DeHART was born March 10, 1924, in Van Buren County, the son of Earnest and Lena KREISS DeHART.

Survivors include one brother, Ron DeHART of Glendale, Ariz.; and three sisters: Dorothy KELLER of Belton, Mo., Lou TURNER of Fairfield and Carol EDMONSTON of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Doug DeHART.
