Elzy GIBERSON, eldest son of Lafe GIBERSON and wife, was born near the old home just over in Jefferson County, northwest of Stockport, Iowa, Sept. 3, 1887..... was taken ill March 1st with measles and then took pneumonia.... Passed away Wednesday morning (sic - March 9th) at 7:30. Leaves a father and mother, five brothers and one sister....
