Donald James SORFLATEN

Donald James SORFLATEN, 62, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at home.

No service is planned. According to Mr. SORFLATEN's wishes, the body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to John SORFLATEN, 6308 Burnt Mountain Path, Columbia, MD 21045.

Mr. SORFLATEN was born March 7, 1949, in St. Cloud, Minn., the son of Eugene and Bernice COTTON SORFLATEN.

Mr. SORFLATEN retired from 3M as a computer programmer. He was a Naval photographer in Washington, D.C., during the Vietnam War and had previously worked at Brovard Studios in Fairfield.

Mr. SORFLATEN was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include one brother: John SORFLATEN of Columbiam Md., formerly of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
