"Funeral services were held at the Friends Church in Greenleaf, Idaho, Jan. 2 for Mrs. Harlan Macy, who died Dec. 30 at Caldwell, Idaho. Clara Roberts, dau. of Mahlon and Malinda Hoskins Roberts, born at Pleasant Plain May 24, 1887. She attended Pleasant Plain Academy and taught in the public schools. Dec. 2 1909 she was married to Harlan Macy. In 1920 the family moved to the vicinity of Caldwell, Idaho, later moving to Greenleaf. She was an active member of the Friends Church. . . . .Survivors include husband, Harlan Macy and eight children: Aldis, Dwight, Mrs. Anna Williams and Charlotte Macy of Oregon, Mrs. Lee Hoover, Mrs. Bernice Toft and Robert Macy of near Caldwell, and Mahlon Macy of Wheaton, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Orlie Birch of Caldwell, Idaho and Mrs. Marie Heston of Pleasant Plain, and two brothers; Clark Roberts of Nampa, Idaho and Lawrence Roberts of Friendsview Manor, Newberg, Oregon; and 23 grandchildren."
