"Mrs. Ada M. Beeson, former resident of Jefferson County, died early Fri. morning in Marshalltown. She was the former Ada M. Clarridge born May 1 1863 in Libertyville. She attended the Pleasant Plain Academy and married James B. Pickard Mar. 4 1884. They first lived on a farm near Pleasant Plain, later moving to Marshalltown. He died in 1906 and on Nov 5 1910 she married B. Beeson who died in 1923. Surviving are two sons, Roy Pickard of Minneapolis, Minn., and Clyde C. Pickard of Rio Linda, Calif., 5 grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren. Bur. Pleasant Plain."
