"Mrs. Raymond Pickard of Pleasant Plain died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital. Survived by husband and two children."

"40 YEARS AGO - 1926. Mrs. Gladys Lewis Pickard died Tues. morning at the Fairfield hospital. . . . .Born May 3 1905 but was left an orphan and adopted by Mrs. Loie Lewis, to whom she became a dutiful and loving daughter. . . . .Bur. Friends Cemetery at Pleasant Plain."
