"Mrs. Hattie E. Pickard, dau. of Isaac H. and Sarah E. Brown, born in Jefferson County July 31 1859, died at her home near Veo Feb 12 1903. Married Henry Pickard Dec 20 1877. Husband and 3 children: Hugh B., Leonard W. and Maude Lucille, survive. Member Presby. Church, then Friends. . . . .Funeral at Friends church, Pleasant Plain. . . . ."
