Page 4N. M. STALLMAN DIES AT HOME
Neal M. STALLMAN, 69, well known Fairfield resident, passed away at 11:23 p.m. last night at his home, 709 South Fifth street. He suffered a stroke Tuesday evening from which he never recovered.
Last rites will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Weston Bahner (sic – Behner) funeral home with Dr. E. A. Piper in charge. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
Neal M. STALLMAN was born February 14, 1879, at Fairfield, Iowa, the son of the late W. A. and Sarah Jane HOAGLAND STALLMAN. He was united in marriage February 14, 1906, to Lizzie GIESE, who survives.
Mr. STALLMAN spent his entire life in Jefferson ciunty (sic). He was a retired farmer having moved to Fairfield a few years ago.
Besides his wife he is survived by the following children; Earnest, Fairfield; Mrs. Freda ZUEHLKE, Fairfield; and Mrs. Anna ROLLAND, also of Fairfield. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, J. W. and W. F. STALLMAN, of Fairfield.
A brother, Ray STALLMAN, passed away 26 years ago.
