Richard A. GRIFFIN, 53, of Lockridge, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at home.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Richard Allen GRIFFIN

Richard Allen GRIFFIN, 53, of Lockridge, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at home.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dianne Brokken officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The casket will be closed.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to Sally Heckethorn, 1362 Spruce Ave., Brighton 52540.

Mr. GRIFFIN was born Dec. 28, 1957, the son of Raymond and Eleanor PERSSON GRIFFIN Sr.

Mr. GRIFFIN was a self-employed painter.

He liked horses and country music.

Survivors include five siblings: Raymond GRIFFIN Jr. of Fairfield, Rose KELLER of Bloomfield, Robert GRIFFIN of Fairfield, Sally HECKETHORN of Brighton and Susan LEUTH of Curtiss, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
