"John Burt Lynn, 77, long time resident of the Pleasant Plain area, died Tues. at the Washington County hospital. Born Dec 23 1888 in Jefferson County, son of Jasper and Annie Stephenson Lynn, and was reared and educated near Pleasant Plain. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include one brother, Ralph Lynn of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and 3 sisters. . . . .Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery at Pleasant Plain."
