"PLEASANT PLAIN. Mrs. Abigal Jones died at her home west of town Jan. 18. Remains laid to rest in the Friends Cemetery Jan. 19. Member of the Friends Society here for a great many years. Leaves husband and six children."

"PLEASANT PLAIN. Mrs. Abigail Jones died at her home in Penn township Thurs. Jan 18 1894. She was born in Madison Co., Ind., Oct 6 1838 and at the time of her death was 55-3-12. Her maiden name was Abigail Coffin; she was married to Bartholomew Jones in 1858 (7 Mar.). . . . .Pleasant Plain Cemetery. Leaves husband, two sons, 4 daughters, 4 brothers, 5 sisters. . . . ."
