"Obit. Mrs. Rachel Howard died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Emaline Tuttle, in Dover, N.H., Sept 2 1894 aged 72 y. and 9 m. Mrs. Howard was born in New York Dec 3 1822. Her maiden name was Rachel Hull; married John Howard in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Oct 10 1855. Society of Friends. Remains interred at Woonsocket, R.I., where a daughter, Mrs. Anna Aldrich, resides. Mr. and Mrs. Howard accompanied their daughter, Mrs. Aldrich, on her return trip home a few weeks ago, to visit their relatives back east. Deceased leaves husband and three daughters. . . . ."
