"Mrs. Nancy Gatlin died at Pleasant Plain June 28. Born Aug 10 1824 near Trenton, Todd County, Ky. . . . .married Sept 21 1847 the late James Gatlin. Eleven children are left, five present at funeral, J. D. Gatlin of Fairfield, Mrs. Aaron Pickard of Pleasant Plain, Mrs. W. Carrell of Sioux City, Mrs. V. A. Jones and Mrs. Emma George of Lenox. . . . ."
