FAIRFIELD LEDGER, January 6, 1892, pg. 3, col. 2:

Jennie, bright little seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Stidger died in this city early Thursday from diptheria. Another of their children, a boy of 3 yrs. has been very ill with the same dreaded disease. The family has the sympathy of many friends in this affliction.
