"Frank Lewis Eck, prominent business man of Pleasant Plain, died at Fairfield Wed. Feb. 27. Cancer of the stomach. Born at Keokuk, Iowa, July 10 1853; married at Pleasant Plain Oct 6 1875 Lydia Ellen Ellyson. Survived by widow and 6 children: Wm. J. Eck of Washington, D.C.; Ralph Eck of Woolson; Mrs. E. E. (Mabel H.) Edwards of Packwood; Mrs. W. S. (Edith E.) Follen of Brighton; Mrs. S. E. (Cora R.) Heston of Fairfield, and Miss Zora M. at home; 8 grchn. Bur. Friends Cem."
