"Mrs. Harriet Drom of Pleasant Plain died Friday evening at the home of her grandson Roy Lamansky. Born in Ohio Apr 11 1848 (note: stone says 1838), came to Jefferson County 1855; married in 1856 David Buck. Some years after his death she was married to Wm. Drom in May 1908. He died in 1913. One brother, Dr. Hiram Whistler of Grand Junction, Col.; 26 grandchildren, 55 greatgrandchildren and 6 grgrgrandchildren. One son and four daughters are deceased, Fannie and Annie died in infancy, and the other three were all grown and married when they passed away; Mrs. Mary Lamansky, Mrs. Martha Harper and Mrs. Lizzie Lyons. Bur. Friends Cemetery at Pleasant Plain."
