"Mrs. Carrie Jeanette Dickinson, 89, died Sept 18 in Washington, Iowa. Born July 28 1880 at Beckwith, Iowa, dau. of Wm. B. and Martha Jennie Chaney Davis; married March 16 1898 at Pleasant Plain to George A. Dickinson. He passed away in 1951. She was a member of the Friends Church at Pleasant Plain. Resided in Brighton since 1942. Survived by two sons and one daughter: the Rev. W. H. Dickinson of Canon City, Colorado, and Leonard R. Dickinson of Iowa City and Mrs. Vera Hoskins of Brighton; 3 grandchildren and 4 grgrandchildren. One daughter, Marguerite, preceded her in death. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery."
