"Mrs. Barbara Dickinson was born Feb 28 1838 in Penn.; came to Iowa in early childhood; married Nathan R. Cole; 5 children, 3 sons and two daughters, one daughter living in Georgia and one son in Nebr.; the others live in this vicinity. Husband died in the War of the Rebellion; several years later she married Hiram Dickinson who died Apr 18 1895; to them two children, one died in infancy, and George, a son. . . . .She died Mar. 28 age 65 y. & 1 mo. Interment Friends Cemetery."
