"Mrs. Gordon Watson, 28, Washington, died Mon. University Hospital, Iowa City, after an illness of four years. She had bequeathed her body to the college of medicine at the University of Iowa in the interest of science. Memorial services will be held Thurs. 2 p.m. at the Washington United Methodist Church. Born July 6 1940 in Jefferson County, dau. of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Chalupa. Grad. Pl Pl High School and attended Parsons College; married Gordon Watson July 31 1960. Surviving are husband and one son, Paul Eric, at home; her mother, Mrs. Leroy Chalupa, Pleasant Plain; one brother, Dennis Chalupa, Iowa City, and one sister, Mrs. Shirley Halverson, Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her father."
