"PLEASANT PLAIN. Eugene A. Schmidt of Milwaukee, Wis., died suddenly Tues. of a heart attack while visiting at the home of his daughter in South Dakota. . . . .Commissioner of public works for the City of Milwaukee. His wife is the former Marjorie Pickard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Pickard and was reared in this community."
